Pic d'Espade Breeding History

Passionately fond of all kinds of animals (peacocks, rabbits, pheasants, sheep…), I got into breeding very early.

I quickly felt the need to be close to animals that is why I decided to raise dogs.

In 1991, I discovered the Pyrenean shepherd and recognized that in this breed, the temperament, the intelligence and the appearance suit my personality.

After extensive study and research I bought my first female dog in 1994 and regularly participated in dog shows to get to know this breed’s standards more thoroughly.

My goal is to preserve the Pyrenean shepherd’s original qualities.

I strive to attain purity with in the breed.

To obtain the most balanced natured dogs as possible, my puppies are born in house and are highly stimulated until they are two months old.

The Pyrenean shepherd is an active dog with character which likes to run and jump.Its master should be someone that suits those needs.
