Pyrenean shepherd

The pyrenean shepherd is a shepherding dog of minimum height and weight that possesses a great deal of energy.

A thick coat, flat or slightly wavy, usually fawn or grey, with the texture between a goat’s air and a sheep's whool. The Pyrenean shepherd has very good bone structure, but must be wiry.

His type varies considerably from one valley to the next.

The Pyrenean shepherd is a lively, playful and intellignet dog.

This breed race is suspicious towards strangers, but is very faithful to his master.

A sharp and suspicious attitude combined with great liveliness of movement give this dog a characteristic look that as no equal.

His height is between 38 – 46 cm withers for females and 40 to 48 for males.
His weight is around 10 kg for females and 15 kg for males.

This is very intelligent dog that will surprise you everyday.

The Pyrenean shepherd needs a lot of activies, a good education and muste be socialized.
